Today we met up at 6:30 and headed up the canyon. It was a little busier than other trips but we still managed to get through the crowds ok. This trip we tackled the Holman Flats campground area, and were able to clear it out quickly with the larger group we had. As usual we found shoes, clothing items, cans, and general trash, but also an inflatable bed, multiple golf balls, part of an aluminum camp table, a steel cable, and a Frisbee. Only a few campsites remain on the lower section of the trail, and soon we will be crossing the narrows to the upper section which we anticipate will be worse due to its distance from trash and bathroom facilities. Time will tell.

Coy always manages to locate trash no matter where it is.

One neat thing about walking around looking for trash is you notice other things such as this piece of stone that had been drilled and i presume blasted out of the mountain.
