In response to the large amount of trash being left up AF canyon our group decided we needed to start up weekly trash cleanup runs along our adopted trail, FR085. We met up at 6pm and headed up into the canyon. Temperatures were pleasant and traffic was low. We managed to clean out 3 campsites of trash in 2 hours, and found some interesting items including an abandoned tent, dozens of clothes, 3-4 pairs of shoes and sandals, and unopened cans of food among the usual beer cans and other trash. We were shocked at what was found and look forward to continuing our cleanup efforts to do our part in keeping the canyon pristine.
