One of the main items on the Forest Service radar this year was replacing some fencing around a meadow that had failed causing the area to see heavy use. Our goal today was to repair/replace the old fencing, allowing the meadow to return to its former state. We were able to get the two main sections restored, clearly marking the area as off limits, and plan to return and install a few preventative fencing sections in areas that potentially may be used as bypasses.
Afterwards, those who were interested stopped down at the Dairy Keen in Heber for some great food and conversation.
Thank you to everyone who made it out for this project!
