I had the opportunity to attend the Tibble Fork grand opening ceremony today and represent BOAR. There were speeches by many officials and entities involved in the project including the DNR and Forest Service. It was also pretty cool that a gentlemen involved in building the original dam in the 60s was also present. This new dam is rated to last 70 years so perhaps I'll get to attend the next one. They also unloaded fish into the lake which i had not seen before so that was interesting as well.
